Daniel Mulhall, Ireland's ambassador to the United States, visited the Rochester area including the St. John Fisher campus for several days in July 2019.

Mullhall is a native of Rochester's Irish sister city of Waterford, Ireland, and his visit was in conjunction with the 35th anniversary of International Sister Cities Rochester, N.Y., He was involved in presentation of the ISC Corporate Citizen Award to Bausch & Lomb, and toured various local sites including the St. John Fisher campus. He also was honored in a reception at the Genesee Valley Club.
