S​t. John Fisher College’s Irish Studies Program Director Dr. Tim Madigan organized an all-day conference Oct. 28, 2013 centered on Irish author Bram Stoker's depiction of the Count Dracula vampire story.  The multidiscliplinary study examined Stoker's 1897 novel in the context of its connection to Irish culture and politics as well as other aspects of vampires in popular culture.

The event concluded with a showing of the 1992 movie Bram Stoker's Dracula
